Saint Ambrose Parish Religious Education program seeks to foster in our youth a deeper awareness of Christ in their lives and to encourage growth in the wider faith community.

There are three sources of religious formation: family life, parish life, and formal instruction. We recognize that the parents are the first and foremost educators of their children. Their faith and their loving and trusting attitude toward God and human beings strongly influence their child’s faith.

Our program is designed to build upon and reinforce all that is positive in the family and home environment. In cooperation with parents, St. Ambrose Catechists proclaim Christ’s message and, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, participate in efforts to develop community, lead youth to worship and motivate them to serve others.

All children who are three years old by September 1 are welcome to attend Religious Education classes, including children who attend Catholic school.  We have classes for Preschool through 8th grade (Confirmation).

Classes are held from 9:45 am -10:45 pm. on Sundays from September through May.  Families may attend Mass either before or after class.

RCIC is for older children who have missed sacramental preparation and RCIA is for adults who are interested in starting or continuing their Religious Education journey.

A Message from the Pastor

Dear  Parents:

I want to thank you for enrolling your child in the St. Ambrose Parish Religious Education Program.  It is our hope that you find at the parish of St. Ambrose a supportive and loving environment for your child’s growth.

Home environment is the “domestic church,”  the primary place where growth of faith, hope and love is formed and nurtured;  but the larger parish church is here to help and support you in the task of  passing on the gospel values to your children.

Saint Ambrose has an excellent religious education program with qualified,  dedicated teachers who volunteer their time and services.  We hope that  you will cooperate with the teachers to provide the best possible environment  for your child to learn the essentials of our treasured faith and all its implications.

I count on your assistance to make this religious  education a life transforming and enriching experience. If you have any  questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to call on me.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Rev. Andrzej Skrzypiec,  Pastor,

St. Ambrose
