Homebound Communion Ministry
Home Communion Ministers bring Communion to those not able to attend Mass. Individuals who are homebound or residing in an assisted living facility or nursing home, individuals who are ill, or in need of support, comfort, or care are often in need of a visit from a Home Communion Minister.
If you would like to have a Home Communion Minister visit you at your place of residence, please contact St. Ambrose Office at (801) 485-5610, or Dean Betenes at (801) 484-8756.
St. Ambrose Home Communion Ministers regularly visit patients at local hospitals and care centers. If you or a family member is admitted to any hospital or care center:
Ask to be put on the list for a minister to visit
Inform the office at St. Ambrose
If you are interested in becoming a Home Communion Minister, please contact our Home Bound Minister, Dean Betenes, at (801) 484-8756 for additional information.
St. Ambrose can provide a light luncheon following a funeral at the Church. Arrangements must be made in advance by calling the Bereavement Minister or the Church office.
If you are interested in volunteering to help prepare, serve, or cleanup after a bereavement luncheon, please contact the parish office, (801) 485-5610, or Dean Betenes. (801) 484-8756
