PARISH NEWS

Weekly Rosary and Eucharistic Adoration are held Tuesdays from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Chapel near the North entrance.  Saturday Prayer Group meets at 9:00 am in the Church, and Sunday Rosary Prayer Group meets at 10:15 am in the Chapel.

Join us for a Lenten reflection on the Mystery of God on Monday mornings at 10:30 am in the Vaughan Center, from March 6 through April 10. Using Bishop Robert Barron’s insights, we will  uncover a clear understanding of what we mean by “God.”

For more information, contact Charity Van Maren at 801-485-9324, or cvanmaren@xmission.com.

Prayer of the Week 2 lines

PRAYER FOR STRENGTH IN THE FINAL HOURS OF A LOVED ONE’S LIFE

Compassionate God, as heart-aching as it is to let go of my loved one, It is unfair to hold (name ________) back…Welcome (him/her) home.

Thank you for all that my loved one has meant to me and to others. Thank you for the loving memories I will have long after (he/she) is gone.

May my loved one be given inner strength to peacefully enter the realm of new life. May I be generous in my final farewell and give (him/her) the blessing of goodbye.

Lord, receive this dear one, whom you loaned to me for a time. Thank you for the gift of  _______, whom I now return to you with gratitude.             Amen
